I received an email about the internet radio station slot who has asked to air my music! Here is what was said:

” The Ternion Complex is ready to take to the air. This show is devoted to giving an
audience to a region deeply rooted in its musical traditions. The Ternion Complex will
rotate music from the dedicated local musicians who call The Triangle of North Carolina
home.

By weaving Jazz, Blues, Rock, Indie, Bluegrass, Hip-Hop and Country all into a single
show, The Ternion Complex promises to be an eclectic listening experience by paying
tribute to one of the most diverse music scenes in the country.

The Triangle of North Carolina broadcasts to the world at http://taintradio.org/ every
week starting Saturday, February 26 from 2-6 PM with a rebroadcast every Wednesday
from 12 Noon-2pm. ”

This is very exciting news for me and I hope you will all tune in during the inaugural airing this Saturday or the rebroadcasting the following Wednesday. This radio show is going to air every Saturday so this will, hopefully, be great exposure for some local North Carolina musicians, including myself! Stay tuned……

Taintradio

Just this past Friday I opened up my inbox and was greeted with an email with the subject “Hey Cammie!”. Immediately when I see these emails I know they’re from someone contacting me through my website so I opened it with some reluctance since I do get spam from their sometimes. Well, this time it wasn’t spam! The email read as follows:

Hi Cammie,

My name is Todd Fitch. I am the owner of The Sound Shop Mobile Recording, based out of Creedmoor, NC.

I have been offered the opportunity to host a program on http://taintradio.org. Taintradio is 100% listener supported. No commercials, no programming requirements. This show can have whatever content I see fit to play.

I was thinking it might be cool to do a show with music exclusively from The Triangle. Two hours of 100% local music of any genre, played to a world wide audience. As the show progresses and begins to gain a voice I hope to be able to not only play local music, but also have bands come in for interviews and album retrospectives.

The show is tentatively named The Ternion Complex. Ternion being a group of three (The Triangle) and, Complex being a lovely word in the vernacular as of late. I hope to have The Ternion Complex on air in mid February or early March. The initial air date is dependent upon the level of response to this content request.

If you would like to be a part of the show please send me a CD to add to the playlist. Playlists are reported for licensing and are available at the website( http://taintradio.org/) after the show broadcasts.

Please include notes about what song(s) you would prefer to have played, your city, at least one email contact, and one phone contact.

I have a lot going on this year that will benefit local musicians. The TaintRadio Show, a TV program as well as some additional services through the recording studio to be announced in the next week or two.

Todd also included an address to mail my cd in to but I decided it would be best not to disclose that. hehe. This is very exciting news, though, and I hope you will all take the time to listen to the show when it’s available. I will keep everyone updated about this. Thanks for reading!!
